Turn dark to light!
One popular modern idea adopted by many Interior Designers is to strive to achieve a fresh, more spacious look by replacing dark surfaces with lighter ones. One a upon a time dark ‘Cherry’ wood was all the rage but nowadays it seems dark and dull.
In this example Cape Town flooring experts Libra Flooring exchanged cherry wood for a beautiful light coloured vinyl. The new look is stunning and the transformation of the room complete!
Turn cold to warmth
There’s little more irritating than stepping out of bed onto a cold floor and making your way to the bathroom on it too! Beautiful, plush carpeting warms your body and heart, is a feast for your eyes and saves on energy costs too by warming an entire room. Treat yourself this winter!
Turn dull decking to dazzling!
Even outdoors you can transform what’s underfoot! Although wood decking can be wonderful, it does require regular maintenance and will eventually fade. Replace this with modern composite decking, which comes in a range of colours and requires less maintenance in the long term. It looks absolutely stunning and decking can save so much on garden care and maintenance, for guest house owners particularly.
